I decided to replace the blades on my Echo HC 150 trimmer (ok, so I tried to trim some barb wire fence by accident!). These blades are fairly easy to install. Be sure to follow the directions in your manual! You will need a pair of 10 MM sockets to dismantle the nuts/bolts that secure the blade, and a TORQ screwdriver to loosen the fasteners that hold the cover plate on the gear box. Be sure to wear GLOVES as you handle these blades, they are super sharp (yes, even when you are removing them from the cardboard shipping sleeve). I took my old blades to the lawnmower shop to have them sharpened.
